Streamer introduces a new sports add-on package, based on NFL RedZone, for the 2021/2022 NFL season.
Live sports are back, and Hulu + Live TV subscribers will be able to watch more of their favorite teams and athletes than ever before! We are the leading home for streaming sports and know that 77% of sports fans agree that streaming TV has positively changed the way they view sports1. That’s why we’re always looking to give subscribers more choice, flexibility and a wider range of sports content as part of a personalized TV experience – and now we’re doing it with more live channels.
Starting today, NFL Network is available to all Hulu Live TV subscribers as part of our basic subscription plan for $64.99 per month. The addition of NFL Network to Hulu’s lineup of 75-plus live streaming channels allows fans to get year-round NFL content, including live NFL preseason games, exclusive live coverage of NFL regular season games, popular studio shows like Emmy-nominated Good Morning Football and NFL Total Access, and NFL GameDay Morning and NFL Now, and award-winning original series like A Football Life, NFL 360 and America’s Game.
Hulu’s new “Sports” addition, which includes six sports networks, will also launch today to serve as the ultimate sports destination with a collection of live game broadcasts, the latest highlights, sports news and events. For $9.99 a month, Hulu Live TV subscribers can add NFL RedZone, Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, MAVTV Motorsports Network, TVG and TVG2 to their live streaming lineup. Soccer fans can watch NFL RedZone every Sunday during the regular season to see host Scott Hanson host seven hours of live soccer action. For super fans who are ready to start the soccer season early, NFL RedZone will play all NFL RedZone programs from Aug. 23 through Sept. 8 for the 2020 NFL season through the start of the 2021 season. In addition, fans of motorsports, horse racing and other outdoor sports such as competitive fishing will be able to watch all events year-round.
“With the launch of the NFL Network and our new Sports Add-on, Hulu + Live TV continues to be the perfect place for sports fans to watch thousands of hours of live and on-demand sports programming,” said Reagan Feeney, Hulu vice president of programming and partnerships for Live TV content. “Starting today, viewers can bring even more game-day events into their living room with live game and event coverage, original shows, motorsports, horse racing and more.”
“We are excited to offer NFL Network and NFL RedZone to Hulu + Live TV subscribers,” said Hans Schroeder, executive and chief operating officer of NFL Media. “One of our top priorities as the League remains to expand our NFL content distribution platforms, so we’re very excited to offer our lineup of award-winning shows and live game broadcasts to Hulu subscribers.”
Since the launch of Hulu + Live TV in 2017, we continue to partner with leagues and networks to provide a robust sports offering that includes ESPN, TNT and TBS, as well as Fox FS1 and FS2 channels, broadcast networks Fox, CBS, NBC and ABC and eight NBC RSNs so that passionate fans can watch their favorite sports live on Hulu. We also recently made ESPN+ sports programming and pay-per-view events available for purchase directly on the Hulu app. Beginning with the 2021-2022 NHL season, Hulu and ESPN+ will be home to 75 exclusive regular season games, as well as ESPN and ABC broadcasts of NHL regular season games, the Stanley Cup playoffs and finals, NHL All-Star competitions and more.
In addition to streaming sports content, Hulu Live TV subscribers also have access to a huge library of popular TV shows and movies on demand, including Saturday Night Live, Family Guy, The Handmaid’s Tale and Trolls World Tour – all in one place.
